Building Envelope Inspection Services
Yearly, mill maintenance personnel are required to budget building envelope repairs for the upcoming year.
Is this a fair task for people with little training with regards to the deterioration of metal roof and wall cladding?

On a regular basis, mill personnel are required to service mechanical equipment situated on sloped metal roofs.
We always seem to assume that they are safe. They are metal after all. Are they safe?

As mentioned previously Rainscreen's principals who have worked many years in the industrial metal siding environment and are familiar with the signs of cladding deterioration and what stage the deterioration is in. Rainscreen is now available to assist with formal inspections followed by a written report listing potential deficiencies and the approximate life span to failure of the envelope cladding.
The report would also provide budget costs for the repair in a five-year plan format.
